The Christopher Seaton collection presents the Lake District with an arresting, contemporary vibrancy. These striking pieces capture familiar peaks, tranquil waters, and lakeside flora using a dramatic, high-contrast colour palette. Deep cobalt and navy blues are set against striking cherry reds and vivid pinks, creating scenes that are both immediately recognisable and completely reimagined in their colourways.

The artwork is defined by its strong, graphic aesthetic. Solid blocks of colour are broken up by the distinctive, rhythmic marks of thick, carved lines, mimicking the authentic, tactile texture of block printing. This visual hallmark introduces a dynamic sense of movement to the steep mountain slopes, the dense fields of foreground flowers, and the rippling surfaces of the lakes. Small white cottages and bright red-sailed boats stand out sharply against the layered landscapes, providing charming focal points. These pieces bring a bold, modern energy to a room, offering a fresh, highly decorative perspective on the natural beauty of the fell country.
