Bold Fells Above Buttermere

Strong, sweeping lines transform a famous Lake District valley into a striking study of contrast and form. This interpretation of Buttermere distils the monumental landscape into its most essential, graphic elements.

Rhythmic marks curve across the imposing fells, mapping the steep topography with bold intensity against a soft cream sky. Below, the water is formed of broken, horizontal dashes suggesting gentle ripples, bordered by a dense, dark treeline and intricately detailed foreground grasses. The interplay of deep, rich tones and off-white negative space creates a powerful, structured energy.

An eye-catching focal point for a modern study or contemporary living room, this striking piece is available as a museum-quality print, canvas, or framed in solid black, white or natural wood. Choose from 40cm, 70cm or 90cm square formats to brilliantly anchor your space.
