Ashness Bridge in Vibrant Teal

The iconic stone arch of a classic Lake District packhorse bridge is reimagined in brilliant, striking colour. This bold interpretation of Ashness Bridge in Borrowdale transforms a familiar scene into a highly tactile landscape of light and shadow.

Deep, shadowed teals form the sturdy structure of the bridge, contrasting sharply with the bright white, mint green, and cool blue of the sun-bleached boulders in the rocky beck below. Behind the arch, the fells rise in layered bands of vivid emerald and chartreuse, eventually giving way to the softer, hazy blues of the distant peaks against a pale, warm sky. The blocky, deliberate brushwork gives the landscape a tremendous sense of weight and energetic movement.

A fantastic statement piece for a contemporary living room, study or welcoming hallway, this artwork brings the vibrancy of the fells indoors.
