Blue Fells and Green Valley

Sweeping curves and intense colour transform a classic Lakeland scene into a striking piece of contemporary art. This bold composition strips the landscape back to its elemental forms, contrasting dramatic shadow with vivid light.

A sharp diagonal dominates, as a sun-drenched, golden fellside cuts across monumental mountains bathed in deep ultramarine. Below, the valley floor stretches out in vibrant bands of rich green, intersected by the bright cerulean blue of a winding beck. The smooth, sweeping blocks of colour give the scene an incredibly modern, almost graphic presence.

An arresting focal point for a modern living room or study, this piece brings the dramatic scale of the Lakes indoors. Available as a museum-quality print or canvas in square sizes of 40cm, 70cm, or 90cm, it arrives ready to hang in a black, white, or natural frame.
