Elterwater Framed by Trees

This piece reimagines Elterwater in a glorious, joyful burst of warmth. It captures an intense, magical hour when the fading sun turns the surrounding fells into glowing embers.

Heavy, twisting boughs frame the scene, drawing the eye past golden reeds and across the water towards dramatic peaks. The palette is spectacularly bold: the mountains rise in rich lavender and fiery orange, while the lake dances with deep ripples of magenta, cerulean, and liquid gold. Every textured brushstroke feels alive with vibrant energy.
