Glenridding from Above Ullswater

The immense scale of the Lakeland landscape commands attention in this sweeping high-angle impression of Glenridding. Dwarfed by the vast shoulders of the fells, the lakeside village provides a delicate anchor in a striking ocean of colour.

Broad brushstrokes build a bold composition dominated by fields of sage, mint, and deep forest green. The glass-like surface of Ullswater perfectly mirrors the surrounding peaks, whilst the foreground swoops upward in vivid slashes of apricot and goldenrod. Below, the tiny settlement’s white walls catch a soft, pale lavender light filtering from the hazy sky.

A dramatic piece for a contemporary living room or modern holiday let, this artwork offers a fresh perspective on a famous valley. Available as a museum-grade Print or Framed Canvas in black, white, or natural wood, it comes in square sizes of 40cm, 70cm, and 90cm. Arriving ready to hang, it makes a superb gift for lovers of the high fells.
