Golden Evening Light on the Fells

As the day draws to a close, the Lakeland landscape transforms under shifting shadows and sudden bursts of sun. This striking piece celebrates that fleeting, magical window when golden evening light pools deep within the valleys.

Rendered with sweeping, expressive strokes, the artwork is dominated by rich emerald and dark forest greens. A dramatic v-shaped valley guides the eye towards a buttery-yellow glow where the late sun catches the lower slopes, contrasting beautifully against the soft, cream-coloured sky. The textured foreground suggests lush, windswept fell grass.

Bringing a profound sense of depth to living rooms and hallways, this vibrant piece is available as a museum-quality print or canvas in three square sizes (40cm, 70cm, 90cm). Choose a black, white or natural wood frame for a gallery-ready finish that perfectly suits your home or holiday cottage.
