Golden Fells and Deep Blue Lake

Thick layers of vibrant pigment capture the fierce, energetic contrast of a bright Lake District day. This striking piece uses intense colour to convey the sheer impact of the fell landscape, where deep mountain shadows meet brilliantly sunlit slopes.

A commanding ultramarine fell dominates the background, its heavy, textured mass looming above a vividly blue stretch of water. On the shore, a small cluster of trees stands against sweeping banks of grass rendered in brilliant golden yellows and rich emerald greens. The energetic, impasto brushwork brings a palpable sense of movement and raw texture to the reflections catching on the water's surface.

An exceptional statement piece for a contemporary living room or a bold addition to a modern holiday let, this vibrant artwork demands attention. Available as a museum-standard print or stretched canvas, and offered framed in solid black, white, or natural wood, choose from 40cm, 70cm, or 90cm square sizes to perfectly fit your space.
