Golden Light on the Fells

The sudden break of evening sun through thick mountain mist creates a moment of pure theatrical drama in the high fells.

Deep charcoal shadows and muted, earthy greens anchor the left side of this steep valley, contrasting fiercely with the intense, glowing copper highlights striking the opposite slope. Heavy, luminous mist fills the central void, catching the fiery evening rays and diffusing them across the rugged terrain to create a truly atmospheric scene.

A striking statement piece for a contemporary living room or study, this artwork brings the raw, moody atmosphere of the Lakes indoors. Choose a classic framed print in black to enhance the deep shadows, or a minimalist canvas to let the glowing colours command the space. Available in our square 40cm, 70cm, or 90cm sizes, arriving beautifully finished and ready to hang.
