Hikers at Sunset on the Fells

Reaching the summit at golden hour offers a perspective that stays with you long after the descent. This piece captures that moment of triumph as two walkers take in the staggering scale of the Lake District fells, bathed in the warmth of a setting sun.

Thick, rhythmic brushstrokes bring the landscape to life, contrasting a vibrant foundation of amber and molten orange with the deep violet and magenta of the gathering shadows. The textured rock underfoot leads the eye across the plunging valley towards distant peaks, where the evening light dances across the crags and ridges in a luminous display of colour.

An ideal centrepiece for a living room or a dedicated study, this artwork is a perfect gift for fell-walkers who live for those summit views. Choose from a Print, Canvas, or Framed Print in natural, black, or white, available in 40cm, 70cm, and 90cm sizes to suit your home or holiday cottage.
