Monochrome Lake And Distant Fells

Striking in its simplicity, this contemporary piece reduces the familiar upland landscape to its most elemental forms.

Stark black shapes and flowing outlines are set against a warm, flat cream background. Sweeping, continuous lines define the distant fells, drawing the eye towards a perfectly geometric sun hovering above the horizon. In the foreground, bold, undulating forms suggest dark shores sloping down to the unmarked expanse of the water, creating a profound sense of depth and scale through minimalist contrast alone.

A bold statement piece for modern living rooms or contemporary studies, this artwork is available as a classic print or stretched canvas in 40cm, 70cm, or 90cm square formats. For an impeccably sharp finish, opt for a Framed Print or Framed Canvas—a black frame will perfectly echo the artwork's striking linework—arriving complete with fixings and ready to hang in your home or holiday let.
