Pooley Bridge Boathouse in Taupe

The expanse of the water near Pooley Bridge is reduced to its barest, most beautiful essentials in this striking minimalist impression.

A vast upper block of warm taupe sets a calm tone, contrasting sharply with the stark white below. Delicate charcoal linework defines a classic stone boathouse with a projecting wooden balcony, nestled beneath softly sketched shoreline trees. A simple wooden jetty reaches out into the implied lake, while a single, flowing line hints at distant fells, leaving the imagination to fill the uncluttered space.

This wonderfully sparse piece brings a breath of fresh air to modern living rooms or minimalist bedrooms. Available as a museum-standard print, or beautifully finished as a framed print or canvas in 40cm, 70cm, or 90cm square sizes. Choose a natural wood frame to perfectly complement the earthy tones of this elegant Lake District scene.
