The 214 Wainwrights — Terrain Map Poster

One size: 50 x 70 cm (about 20 x 28 inches). That is the printed sheet itself; on the framed option the 20 mm moulding sits outside it, and there is no mount, so the map runs to the frame.

There is only one size because of the key. All 214 fells are named on the sheet, and that type sets at 3.4 mm at 50 x 70 cm, 2.5 mm at 45 x 60 and 1.4 mm at 30 x 40 — only the largest is comfortably readable, so only the largest is sold. Reading the fell names is the point of the sheet.

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed — a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding in black, white or natural oak, glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, on an MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Unframed — the same print on its own, rolled and posted in a tube for you to frame as you like.

Every sheet is printed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days; an unframed print is quicker, as there is nothing to assemble or glaze. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
