Alfred Wainwright’s seven Pictorial Guides detail 214 Lakeland fells. For fell-baggers, completing the round is a serious achievement. Having the full set gathered on one sheet serves as both a striking tribute to miles walked and a working tally for those still bagging them.

This Line · Brights Grid edition features every fell's true outline drawn as a crisp white skyline against flat tiles of bright poppy red, tangerine orange, magenta pink, cobalt blue, emerald green, violet purple, and turquoise. Arranged strictly by height, each block carries the summit's name alongside its elevation in metres and feet. It reads from across the room as a bold patchwork of colour, and up close as a meticulous summit list.

A brilliant focal point for a hallway, landing, or study, this chart arrives framed and ready to hang. The vibrant palette looks especially sharp housed in a stark white or solid black frame, letting the vivid fells command the wall.

Sizes

Every poster is square, and the size given is the printed sheet itself — the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount: the print runs to the frame, so all 214 fells are on show.

The sizes available for this design are the ones in the picker above. Larger is not simply bigger, it is more readable: at the largest size each fell tile is around 29 mm across and its name reads comfortably from arm's length, while the smaller sizes read as a whole from across a room and reward a closer look.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every fell, named and measured

Each tile is drawn from the fell's own skyline, so no two are alike, and each carries the name Wainwright himself used along with its height in both feet and metres — his original guidebook altitude beside the modern survey. The fells run in height order, highest first, which is why the colour sorts itself down the sheet.
