A favourite for walkers, the ridge path of Catbells is a deeply familiar Lake District profile. Looking along the route to the domed summit, steep bracken slopes fall away on the left, leaving the patchwork fields of the valley far below on the right.

This poster reimagines the famous ascent through the strict lens of Bauhaus design. Laid over a rigid grid, the landscape is reduced to pure primary geometry. The fells become stark triangles in red and yellow, while the summit sits as a bold, heavy circle. From across a room, these vivid, interlocking shapes instantly resolve into a classic mountain view.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this vibrant piece makes a graphic statement in a modern hallway or stairwell. A black frame perfectly echoes the heavy grid lines of the artwork. Part of a wider geometric series, you can collect several to build a striking gallery wall.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
