The view along the ridge path of Catbells towards its distinctive domed summit is one of the most celebrated walks in the region. From this iconic spine, bracken slopes fall away sharply on the left, contrasting with the patchwork fields of the valley far below on the right.

Reimagined through the lens of early twentieth-century Constructivism, the familiar ridge becomes a striking exercise in graphic agitation. Hard diagonals fracture the landscape into bold blocks of crimson, deep black, and cream. From across a room, the fell is reduced to sheer energy and sharp, monumental geometry.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this assertive piece demands attention in a stark hallway or above a minimalist sitting room fireplace. A solid black frame best anchors the heavy diagonal lines. Hang it singly for impact, or collect others in the series to build a bold gallery.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
