Grasmere is a perfectly proportioned small round lake. From the near shore, the eye is drawn past jagged reed beds to the single wooded island at its centre. It is a sheltered landscape, firmly enclosed by the steep, looming shoulders of Helm Crag and Silver How, making it an unmistakable Lakeland view.

This travel poster captures the valley through the aggressive lens of Constructivism. The landscape is reduced to hard diagonals and bold geometry in a stark palette of red, black and cream. From across a room, the island and reed beds read as graphic symbols, transforming a familiar scene into commanding, agitated design.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
