The ascent of Catbells is a beloved tradition, drawing walkers along its famous ridge path towards the distinctive domed summit. From this familiar vantage point, steep bracken slopes fall rapidly away to the left, while a patchwork of green valley fields stretches out far below on the right.

This design reimagines the fell through the precise aesthetic of a layered papercut. Six distinct planes of colour recede into the distance, each undulating edge casting a subtle shadow to build depth. From across a room, the deep forest-green of the foreground bracken gives way to a smooth, winding path and the pale blue-grey mass of the summit.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this piece brings a strong graphic presence to a hallway or stairwell. A natural wood frame beautifully complements the earthy greens, while white highlights the pale, receding sky. Designed as part of a wider series, it invites you to build a collection of favourite fells.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
