Looking along the familiar ridge path, the eye is drawn straight to the domed summit of Catbells. To the left, steep bracken slopes fall away, while on the right, a patchwork of valley fields stretches out far below. It is a classic walk, offering a vantage point that walkers return to endlessly.

In a true Impressionist style, the landscape is built entirely from broken colour and dissolving light. Free of hard outlines, the rough path and flowering heather are formed through textured, energetic brushstrokes. From across a room, patches of soft lilac, warm ochre and muted green merge into a vibrant, glowing scene.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this print anchors a hallway or a sitting room wall. A natural wood frame beautifully complements the earthy tones of the slopes, while a white frame picks out the pale evening sky. Part of a wider collection, it works perfectly alone or grouped as a series.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
