Golden Light Over Layered Fells

The fading warmth of a Lake District day settles softly across this wonderfully structured landscape, where rolling contours are distilled into satisfyingly bold forms.

Deep forest greens and muted olives cascade down the overlapping fells, anchored by clusters of rounded woodland and striking, slender evergreens in the foreground. Above, the sky is a sweep of soft sand and cream, casting a golden evening light that bathes the lower valleys and geometric fields in earthy, warming tones. Sweeping, tonal brushstrokes give the piece a tactile, sophisticated depth.

This beautifully balanced composition brings an understated, contemporary feel to living rooms, studies, or modern holiday lets. Available in our square 40cm, 70cm, and 90cm sizes, it makes a handsome statement whether chosen as a museum-quality print, a textured canvas, or a framed canvas in natural wood, white, or black.
