Luminous Tarn Below Haystacks

The rugged heights of the Cumbrian landscape soften into an ethereal display of light and atmosphere in this impressionistic take on Haystacks. A brilliant, jewel-like pool anchors the composition, drawing the eye across the valley towards the imposing, misty summit.

Textured blocks of golden ochre and crisp white evoke sunlit boulders and heather. Nestled among them, a small tarn reflects a startlingly clear azure blue, contrasting beautifully with the muted sage greens and soft, shadowy greys of the rising fell. Sweeping, horizontal brushstrokes suggest a distant ribbon of water leading toward the majestic mountain silhouette.

A striking statement piece for a contemporary living room or a restful addition to a master bedroom, this artwork brings the magic of the high fells indoors.
