Tarn Hows Pines and Slate Fells

A beloved Lakeland landscape is transformed through bold contrast and striking colour blocks. This contemporary impression of Tarn Hows uses dramatic light and sharp geometry to create a truly arresting piece of wall art.

Dark Scots pines stand clustered on the peninsula, their forms mirrored perfectly in the deep blue of the water. The composition is split dramatically by a stark, creamy-white expanse on the left, which contrasts beautifully with the warm, sandy-beige foothills. Above, imposing fells rise in deep slate blue, fading gently into a pale sky, while textured brown grasses anchor the immediate foreground.

This distinctly modern take on the Lakes makes a commanding statement in contemporary living rooms, minimalist hallways or bright office spaces. Available in 40cm, 70cm and 90cm square formats, you can choose a classic Print, a texture-rich Canvas, or a Framed piece in black, white or natural wood, arriving ready to hang.
