Fellside Farm in Golden Light

The striking interplay of weather and illumination defines the Cumbrian uplands. In this bold composition, a fleeting moment of intense evening sun sets the foreground ablaze against a brooding, misty backdrop.

Thick sweeps of vibrant mustard yellow score the lower pastures, heavily contrasting with the cool slate greys and icy blues of the towering fells. A cluster of sturdy white farm buildings huddles beneath the heavy sky, their walls catching the final sharp rays before dusk settles. Deep, tactile scrapes in the heavy paint add a raw, dramatic energy to the scene.

Bringing a bold, contemporary edge to traditional landscape art, this piece demands attention. Available as a museum-quality print or classic canvas, choose from sizes ranging from 40cm to a statement 90cm square. A framed canvas in black or natural wood perfectly anchors those intense ochre tones, creating a striking focal point for a modern living room or holiday let.
