Winter Lake with Golden Reeds

A sudden flash of vibrant gold cuts through the freezing mist, bringing a startling warmth to the cold, sweeping fells.

Thick, textured layers of icy blue and slate grey build the rugged forms of the landscape as it drops sharply toward the deep teal waters of the lake. Heavy foreground strokes of brilliant mustard yellow crackle with energy, suggesting frost-hardened bracken catching the low winter sun, while distant peaks fade into an atmospheric, bruised sky.

This strikingly moody piece makes a magnificent focal point for a contemporary living room, study, or Lake District holiday let. Available as a museum-standard print or canvas, and ready to hang in a black, white, or natural frame, you can select from 40cm, 70cm, or 90cm square sizes to beautifully suit your interior.
