Layered Green Fell with Hikers

This striking modern landscape captures the immense scale of the Lake District through bold, geometric simplicity. Tiny figures stand silhouetted against sweeping ridges, conveying the triumph of reaching a high summit and gazing across layered topography.

Thick, textured bands of colour divide the canvas into rhythmic blocks. Deep forest greens anchor the foreground and top ridge, while a luminous palette of mint, teal, and pale cream creates a sense of shifting light and vast distance. Two sets of walkers—one distant on the horizon, another on a lower edge—add a human narrative to this highly structured, atmospheric scene.

With its contemporary palette, this artwork brings a fresh aesthetic to modern living spaces or minimalist holiday cottages. Available as a print, canvas, or framed canvas in black, white, or natural wood, and in sizes from a versatile 40cm to an impressive 90cm, it is a perfect gift for dedicated fell-walkers.
