Teal Fells Above Elter Water

A masterclass in crisp, contemporary colour-blocking, this striking interpretation of Elter Water reduces the Lakeland scene to its boldest structural elements.

Stark white skies provide a dramatic backdrop for the fell silhouettes, rendered in cool, soothing tones of mint and teal. A heavy band of forest green woodland anchors the composition, giving way to water layered in distinct horizontal bands of aqua. Delicate bare branches frame the upper corners, while sharp, vertical reeds jut upwards from the foreground, contrasting against the smooth expanse of the lake.

With its vibrant, modern palette, this piece makes a stunning focal point for bright living spaces or contemporary holiday lets. Available as a museum-standard print, framed print, or stretched canvas in 40cm, 70cm, or 90cm square sizes, it brings a fresh, bold vision of the Lakes indoors.
