Terracotta Fells at Easedale Tarn

Stripping the beloved Cumbrian landscape back to its essential forms, this bold, contemporary piece offers a distinctly modern take on the fells. Clean lines and sweeping curves transform rugged terrain into a striking graphic statement, perfect for those who appreciate both mid-century aesthetics and the great outdoors.

At the water's edge of Easedale Tarn, a massive, pale boulder commands the foreground, accented by stylised strokes of mossy green. Beyond the deep, slate-teal expanse of the tarn, the fells rise in dramatic, solid blocks of colour. A sweeping ridge of vivid terracotta dominates the horizon, contrasting sharply against a steep slope of forest green and a soft cream sky, creating a deeply satisfying, minimalist composition.

This vibrant artwork makes a superb focal point for a modern living room, a stylish study, or a contemporary holiday let. Available as a standalone print or a gallery-wrapped canvas, it can also be ordered as a framed print or framed canvas in black, white, or natural wood. Choose from 40cm, 70cm, or 90cm square sizes to bring a bold splash of Lake District colour into your home.
