Terracotta Fells in Evening Light

Traditional landscape art is transformed in this strikingly modern interpretation of a Lake District evening. By stripping away the intricate details of the fells, the scene relies entirely on bold, dramatic colour to convey the deep warmth of the setting sun.

A soft, creamy sky gives way to sweeping geometric blocks of vibrant terracotta, mustard yellow, and deep forest green. A trio of tiny silhouette trees provides a sharp focal point against the smooth, slate-teal profile of the distant peaks. The interplay of flat, striking shapes creates a wonderfully expansive sense of space and contemporary mood.

This highly minimalist piece is an incredible statement maker for modern living rooms, contemporary hallways, or stylish holiday lets. Available as a museum-quality Print or stretched Canvas, and striking in our Framed options, choose from 40cm, 70cm, or 90cm square sizes to perfectly anchor your interior space.
