Aira Force is a commanding presence, a tall, narrow waterfall plunging heavily through a wooded rock gorge into a dark pool. Visitors stand captivated by the sheer drop, looking up past steep banks dense with ferns and trees to the small stone footbridge that spans the very top of the falls.

This poster reimagines the landscape through the uncompromising lens of Constructivism. The gorge is fractured into hard, aggressive diagonals of striking red, deep black, and pale cream. The plunging water becomes a stark geometric arrow cutting through abstracted rock faces and jagged foliage. Designed for maximum visual impact, it is a piece of graphic agitation that reads with absolute clarity from across a room.

An arresting statement piece for a hallway, stairwell, or a dramatic study wall, this print arrives professionally framed and ready to hang. A solid black frame is the perfect choice here, anchoring the heavy geometric shadows and amplifying the intense red palette. Part of a wider collection of Lake District travel posters, it stands powerfully on its own or sits brilliantly within a curated set of three.

Sizes

30 × 40 cm — 12 × 16 in

45 × 60 cm — 18 × 24 in

50 × 70 cm — 20 × 28 in

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural wood.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
