Blea Tarn is a classic high mountain water, lying in a spectacular pass beneath towering, craggy summits. Walkers stand among the rocks at the water's edge to take in the perfect view of the valley head, framed by a steep fellside sweeping down to the right.

The Muted Modern style strips this landscape back to its essential geography. Chalky, minimalist blocks of colour build the fells in soft layers of sand, oat, and sage. From across a room, the sweeping curves of the tarn and jagged skyline create a striking composition, grounded by the classic, bold typography of the travel poster tradition.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
