Blea Tarn sits in a high mountain basin where walkers pause to take in the rugged view. The water fills the foreground, edged with dark rocks, while craggy summits rise at the valley head, flanked by a steep green fellside to the right.

This design captures the deep freeze of mid-winter in the bold tradition of vintage railway posters. The landscape is reduced to sharp, block-printed reflections in slate grey and ice blue. The hard frost is punctuated by a single disc of cold pink marking the low sun, ensuring the composition reads powerfully from across a room.

Striking at the turn of a stairwell or above a sitting room fireplace, this framed poster arrives ready to hang. A white frame brilliantly sharpens the snowfields, while black grounds the darker slate tones. Part of a wider winter series, it hangs beautifully alone or collected as a set.

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
