Derwentwater is a wide, calm lake studded with small, wooded islands, reflecting the western fells across the water. Walkers often pause on the shore here, looking toward the jaws of the valley closing in the distance.

The design captures this landscape in the bold tradition of mid-century railway posters, reimagined for a hard frost. The fells are reduced to striking geometric planes of slate and snow, set against pale ice blue and a single strike of cold pink. From across a room, the sheer blocks of colour and clean typography draw the eye instantly.

Hang this winter scene in a hallway or above a study desk. It arrives framed and ready to hang; a black frame sharply defines the icy palette, while natural wood adds warmth to the slate greys. Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
