Looking from a wooded eastern shore, the eye travels down the long, unbroken stretch of Coniston Water. A small wooden jetty and a moored boat wait out the winter freeze, while the great whaleback ridge rises steeply along the far side.

The classic railway poster tradition is reimagined here for a hard frost. From across a room, the design reads in bold shapes of winter colour: deep slate water and dark pine silhouettes contrasting sharply against snow-covered banks. Above the ice-blue mountain ridges, a single band of cold pink cuts through the sky.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this crisp design brings a sharp focal point to a bright stairwell or a quiet study. A black wood frame works perfectly to pick out the dark tree trunks, while white brilliantly highlights the snow. Hang it alone, or collect it alongside others from the series.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
