The view across Blea Tarn is a classic Lakeland reward. Walkers know the water perfectly placed in the foreground, fringed by dark rocks, while the valley head rises into distinct, craggy summits flanked by a steep green fellside.

The design reimagines the scene in the railway poster tradition, captured in a hard winter frost. Complex crags are reduced to bold shapes in slate, snow, and ice blue, struck through with a single highlight of cold pink. Across a room, these sharp contrasts and flat, screen-printed textures command immediate attention.

Hang it above a study desk or along a stairwell to bring a striking, structural focus to the space. Arriving framed and ready to hang, the image runs perfectly to the edge. A black frame sharply defines the pale skies, while a white moulding softens the icy blues. Designed within a wider series, it looks magnificent alone or grouped as a trio.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
