The broad saddleback summit of Blencathra rises steeply above valley pastures. In the foreground meadow, an ancient circle of standing stones grounds the view, separated from the ascending fells by a dark line of trees. It is a striking perspective capturing the sheer scale that draws walkers back year after year.

Rendered in a layered papercut style, the landscape is reduced to six distinct planes receding into mist. From across a room, the shadowed edges of the stones give way to deep woodland greens, then fade into pale mountain blues. It brilliantly mimics the texture of cut paper, pairing bold typography with soft, dimensional shadows.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this piece perfectly anchors a hallway or stairwell. A black frame sharply defines the pale skies, while natural wood softens the artwork for neutral decor. Part of a wider Lakeland series, it looks magnificent alone or grouped to chart your summit bagging.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
