Blencathra is defined by its broad saddleback summit rising above valley pastures. In the foreground meadow, an ancient circle of standing stones frames the fell, separated by a dark line of trees. It is a view where walkers pause to trace their route before taking to the upward path.

This design reduces the landscape to its absolute essence through the minimalist line art style. A single, unbroken black line traces the standing stones, the woodland canopy, and the sweeping ridgeline, anchored by a solitary block of soft sage green. From across a room, the fluid, abstract loops and bold typography create a striking, modern interpretation of the classic travel poster.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this minimalist print brings a clean, contemporary edge to a hallway or study. A black frame pairs beautifully with the stark linework for a crisp, graphic finish, while natural wood softens the aesthetic to echo the outdoor theme. Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Delivery and returns

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
