The broad saddleback summit of Blencathra rises sharply above quiet valley pastures. In the foreground meadow, an ancient circle of standing stones grounds the view, separated from the high fell by a dark line of winter trees.

Rendered in the bold tradition of mid-century railway posters, the landscape is stripped to flat planes and sharp angles. The palette captures a hard frost, pairing crisp white, slate and ice blue beneath a cold pink sky. From across a room, the dark silhouettes of the stones throw the bright, angular peak into sharp relief.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this piece brings a striking focal point to a stairwell or study. A black frame perfectly weights the dark trees and stones, while the white wood lifts the icy sky. Part of a wider collection, it hangs beautifully alone or as a curated set.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
