Walkers pause at the rocky water's edge to take in the perfect reflection of the craggy summits commanding the valley head, framed by a steep green fellside. Blea Tarn is a place known by heart, marking a classic route through the high fells.

The design reimagines this rugged landscape through the tradition of a Japanese woodblock print. From across a room, the eye is drawn to the layered gradients of a sky fading from twilight pink to deep blue. Jagged peaks and shoreline boulders are rendered in flat, subtle tones, anchored by a quiet key line.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this piece brings focus to a hallway or stairwell. A natural wood frame beautifully echoes the earthy greens of the fellside, while a black frame highlights the print's delicate ink lines. As part of a wider series, it sits perfectly alongside others to chart your favourite valleys.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
