Walkers are drawn to Buttermere for perfectly still waters and a dramatic shoreline. In this view, a row of tall Scots pines stands mirrored in the lake, framed by a steeply rising craggy ridge behind and a bare fellside sweeping down to the water on the right.

Rendered in the tradition of a Japanese woodblock print, the valley is reduced to bold shapes. The pines form a dark silhouette against a soft, gradient sky of layered pinks and blues. A quiet key line defines the fells in flat planes of colour, echoing perfectly in the bright reflection below.

Striking above a sitting room fireplace or along a hallway, this poster arrives framed and ready to hang. A black frame sharply highlights the dark tree line, while natural wood softens the vintage palette. Part of a wider series, it is perfect for collecting and hanging as a matched set.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
