Striding Edge is a narrow, rocky arête and a legendary challenge for fell walkers. Seen from above, the dramatic, winding spine dips before rising to a sharp summit, dropping sheer into the deep bowl of the dark mountain tarn below.

Drawing on the Japanese woodblock tradition, this landscape is built from layered planes of colour and a flowing key line. From across a room, the jagged ridge cuts a striking diagonal through dusty greens and slate greys, anchored beautifully by the ink-like tarn and smooth gradient sky.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this piece commands attention on a stairwell or above a study desk. A black wood frame perfectly highlights the dark water and strong, illustrative linework. Belonging to a wider travel poster series, it looks striking hung alone or grouped with other hard-won routes.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
