The view across Blea Tarn is a classic Lakeland reward for walkers. Foreground rocks give way to deep, still water, before the eye is drawn up a steep green fellside to the craggy summits commanding the valley head.

This artwork captures the scene using the bright, flat colours of vintage railway posters. The crags are reduced to bold, geometric blocks of saturated green, russet, and ochre. High above, stylised white clouds drift across a brilliant blue sky, mirrored perfectly in the tarn. From across a room, these striking contrasts deliver a powerful sense of place.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
