Honister Pass is a dramatic ascent. A narrow road climbs steeply through a rocky defile, challenging those who seek the summit. Between towering crags, the fellside is marked by slate spoil and old quarry workings, a testament to Lakeland industry as the valley falls away behind.

This travel poster captures that vertical drama in bright flat colours and sharp shapes. From across a room, the eye follows the winding grey road past saturated green fellsides and the russet tones of the slate spoil. A deep blue sky and bold clouds distill the rugged landscape into a clean graphic.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this print commands attention on a stairwell or above a desk. A black frame sharply defines the vivid colours, while natural wood echoes the earthy quarry tones. Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
