Ascending the rocky spine of this famous fell is a Lakeland rite of passage. Looking along the worn ridge path, the eye is drawn directly to the domed summit, flanked by steep bracken slopes falling away on the left and the patchwork valley fields far below on the right.

This impressionist treatment captures the climb through broken colour and dissolving light. Built from confident, unblended oil strokes, the landscape sheds all hard outlines. From across a room, these energetic dabs of heather purples, moss greens and earthy ochres perfectly resolve into the sweeping valley and ascending ridge.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, it brings the energy of the fells to a hallway, stairwell or study. A natural wood frame beautifully echoes the earthy bracken tones, grounding the loose brushwork. Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
