Catbells is a beloved introductory fell, drawing walkers up its distinct ridge. Following the path, the eye is pulled straight to the domed summit. Bracken-covered slopes drop into the mist on the left, while the patchwork fields of the Newlands valley spread out far below on the right.

This design reimagines the climb as a Japanese woodblock print. The terrain is reduced to sweeping, layered blocks of muted green, earthen pink, and deep indigo, held together by a quiet key line. A soft gradient sky adds an atmospheric depth that reads beautifully from across a room.

An elegant focal point for a stairwell or study, this poster arrives framed and ready to hang. A natural wood frame warms the earthy tones of the path perfectly. Designed as part of a series, it makes a brilliant starting point for a wider Lakeland collection.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
