This is the essential Lake District. An archetypal scene captures the region's defining elements: overlapping fells rising above a deep valley, where a long lake rests in the shadows. Drystone walls pattern the low pastures, leading down to a cluster of trees at the water's edge.

The Railway Screen Print style reduces this classic view to bold shapes and flat inks. From across a room, you see striking graphic contrasts: heather purples and warm ochres set against the deep, still blues of the water and sky. Large, confident lettering anchors the design, recalling the golden age of vintage railway graphics.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
