Walkers trace the edge of Buttermere to find this iconic view. A sentinel row of tall Scots pines stands perfectly mirrored in the still water, while a steeply rising craggy ridge dominates the skyline behind and a bare fellside sweeps down to the right.

Styled as a classic 1930s railway poster, the scene is distilled into bold, flat blocks of colour. The fells are rendered in deep purples and earthy ochres, while the pines form sharp, dark silhouettes. Their strong graphic reflection in the deep blue water commands attention from across any room, anchored by one perfect line of typography.

Ideal for a hallway or study, this framed print arrives ready to hang. A black frame sharply accentuates the dark shoreline pines, while a natural wood frame highlights the warmer tones of the high fells. Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
