Great Gable is a definitive Lakeland landmark, a massive pyramid peak of grey crags commanding the skyline. It offers walkers a formidable challenge, defined by wide fans of scree cascading down steep slopes to the valley floor, where thin winding paths meet below.

This poster captures the fell in the classic 1930s railway screen-print tradition. The crags are reduced to bold, geometric shapes in deep purples and greys, contrasting with the sunlit ochre of the scree. Flat inks define the winding valley paths and stylised clouds, creating a striking graphic design intended to be read clearly from across a room.

Delivered framed and ready to hang, it brings a strong focal point to a hallway or study wall. The earthy palette looks superb in our black wooden frame, which sharply borders the bold shapes. As part of a wider series, it works perfectly alone or collected as a set of three.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
