Reaching the highest summit is a fell-bagging rite of passage. Scafell Pike presents a broad, boulder-strewn dome of rough grey rock beneath a wide sky. From here, a deep gulf falls away toward a sheer crag wall, while ridges of lower fells layer into the distance.

This Vivid series print translates the rugged high ground into flat planes of striking colour, recalling classic railway posters. The chaotic boulders are reduced to geometric facets of pale grey and sharp shadow, contrasting with the rich ochres and purples of the mountain architecture. A bold typographic title anchors the view.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this piece commands attention in a stairwell or study. A black frame sharply defines the vibrant palette, while a natural wood moulding complements the warmer valley tones. Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
