To reach the roof of England is to cross a broad, boulder-strewn summit dome of grey rock. From the peak of Scafell Pike, the ground plunges to the right into a deep gulf, falling toward a sheer crag wall as ridges of lower fells layer endlessly into the distance.

This design captures the high fells in the striking tradition of vintage railway prints. Jagged summit rocks become graphic blocks of shadow and light against saturated green slopes. Bright flat colour and bold white clouds ensure the precipitous drop reads clearly from across a room.

Arriving framed and ready to hang on a stairwell or study wall, this print suits a natural wood frame to warm the vibrant blues, or crisp black to anchor the deep shadows. It belongs to a wider series, perfect for marking a memorable climb or collecting as a trio.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
