Standing on the roof of England means navigating a broad, boulder-strewn summit dome of grey rock under a wide sky. Walkers bag Scafell Pike for the thrill of the highest ground, looking out over layered lower fells while a deep gulf falls away towards a sheer crag wall.

The design captures this altitude through mid-century Swiss Modernist reduction. Complex terrain becomes a stark interplay of flat shapes in pale greys and deep charcoal. From across a room, the heavy rock mass is perfectly balanced by a striking crimson sun and crisp red typography.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this bold piece commands attention in a hallway or above a study desk. A black frame brilliantly emphasises the deep shadows. Part of a minimalist series, it works beautifully alone to mark a climb or grouped as a set of three.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
